Sr Controls Engineer

Job Overview

Reporting to the Manager of Controls & Security Tech Solutions, the Senior Controls Engineer will lead the design, selection, installation, and commissioning of control systems and automated equipment for medium to high complexity capital projects.

• Lead the design, selection, installation, and commissioning of control systems and automated equipment.
• Develop and assess control systems for manufacturing environments.
• Manage small capital projects, including scope, cost, and schedule.
• Ensure compliance with industrial control network and cybersecurity standards.
• Support startup, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Partner cross‑functionally across engineering, operations, and vendors.
• Train manufacturing and maintenance teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.

• PLC/PAC programming (Rockwell, Siemens).
• HMI/SCADA experience (Factory Talk, Ignition).
• Knowledge of instrumentation and control systems.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to travel (~30%+).
