- Responsibilities

+ Develop and optimize chemical, biological, or mechanical processes related to food engineering

+ Conduct research and experiments to improve food processing techniques and efficiency

+ Analyze data from pilot plants and manufacturing environments to inform process improvements

+ Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues during testing and production

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and innovation

Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, Biological Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field

+ 0-2 years of relevant experience; internships, co-ops, research projects, or food-processing experience considered

+ Experience working in food processing, salty snacks, confectionery, pilot plants, or manufacturing environments preferred

+ Familiarity with data analysis, DOE/statistics, and hands-on equipment troubleshooting is a plus

+ Strong problem-solving and communication skills
