This is a part-time position located in Hershey, Pennsylvania, with work hours being primarily in the summer and the fall. The company will not provide relocation assistance or other employment benefits for this position. Hershey's Great Candy Expedition Entertainment Hosts work in our brand-new, exciting cinematic theater show. The Entertainment Hosts greet each guest and scan their ticket, hand out samples prior to their entrance onto the station platform, are responsible for staging and seating guests in the HGCE experience theatre, hand out candy to guests upon exit, and clean the areas to maintain ambience.
They will assist guests into the station with scanning their tickets and distributing samples, in the pre-show staging area, and with seating in the main show theatre. Hosts remain in the theatre during the show to maintain guest safety and monitor the show. After the show, hosts will assist guests with exiting the theatre safely and will distribute candy bags to the guests.
The Entertainment Host must be able to deliver exceptional customer service and guest interaction while maintaining the integrity and ambience of the HGCE experience.

- Scan tickets, distribute samples, seat guests in theatre.
- Maintain cleanliness of the HGCE areas.
- Maintain HGCE experience ambiance and speak clearly.
- Assist guests into the theater as well as distribute candy bags after show.
- Must maintain a neat appearance and meet the uniform standards.
- Must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry 25 pounds.
- Must be able to walk or stand for 5-8 hours. Ability to bend, stoop, and twist.
- Pushing wheelchairs may be required.
- Must be able to interact with and speak clearly to a large audience.
- Must be able to clean up station and theatre areas (trash, lost and found items, sweeping the floor, cleaning seats, and returning empty sample carts/obtaining filled carts).
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, fellow coworkers, and function effectively as part of a team.
- The position requires a focus on exceptional customer service, including being approachable, courteous, knowledgeable about our products, and able to clearly communicate with guests and answer any questions.
- Must be able to proficiently read, write, and speak English.
Education:
High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not required.
Experience:
Public speaking experience is preferred but not required.
