MHS is currently seeking a Per‑Diem Registered School Nurse (PRN) to join the growing health care team. The health center is staffed by Registered Nurses, Physicians, Certified Nursing & Medical Assistants and Staff Assistants that provides comprehensive health care to students in a 40‑bed infirmary for ill, injured, or postoperative students, as well as mental wellness services.
The PRNs work two 12‑hour weekend shifts in a 4‑week scheduling period (up to 29 hours per week). Hourly pay rate: $40.80 - $47.94 depending on the shift scheduled. Per‑diem employees do not receive benefits.

• PA Registered Nurse License required, bachelor’s degree in nursing, preferred.
• Minimum of two years nursing experience, physical assessment, primary pediatric, school health and/or emergency nursing, and counseling skills.
• Valid license to practice as a registered nurse in PA, required.
• Valid PA Driver's license in good standing.
• Ability and willingness to be flexible regarding the work schedule is essential.
• Current CPR certification and advanced first aid training.
• School Nurse Certification a plus.
• Candidates must demonstrate a high level of integrity, as all MHS Staff are role models for the MHS Students.
• Candidates should be willing to actively engage with MHS students beyond the scope of their job responsibilities.
