School-Based Behavior Consultant – Hershey, PA
Location:
Hershey, PA. This is a non-mobile, full-time position in a school setting with daytime hours, Monday through Friday, NO evenings or weekends.

One of Central PA s first schools dedicated exclusively to meeting the needs of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is looking for a School-Based Behavior Consultant to join its team. This person will assess clients needs and create treatment plans, develop programs, and monitor their implementation. Behavior Consultants will work with clients in their homes, at their schools, and in their communities.
Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and monitor treatment plans – leading meetings, completing necessary assessments, and submitting required documents
- Collaborate with families, care managers, physicians, specialists, and case managers, with regular communication
- Train and monitor BHT, LBT/MDTA, and EBS staff, providing performance feedback
- Assess and monitor BHT performance to further refine Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) understanding and use of tactics and principles
- Collaborate internally and externally with clients and teammates – provide updates between HR and BHT supervisors
- Train fellow Department members and other staff working through the BCBA Fieldwork and internship activities
- Provide training to Vista employees and stakeholders on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Master s degree in Psychology or similar Human Services field
- Behavior Specialist Licensure
- Successful completion of Vista s crisis intervention training
- Knowledge and application of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Previous experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Strong leadership and organizational skills – ability to train and coach other staff
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- First Aid and CPR Training – highly desired (not required)
- Starting Salary: $64k/year, depending on experience
- Full-time, daytime schedule
