Patient Care Assistant - 1 Acute Care Trauma Surgical

Penn State Health -  - Responsibilities:
Assist trauma/surgical unit with direct and indirect patient care under supervision of a Registered Nurse;
Maintain awareness of patient population needs and scheduling requirements and communicate with nursing staff for assigned patients;
Prioritize patient care in collaboration with team members to meet patient and family goals;
Provide care coordination and support to ensure high-quality patient care on a 24-bed unit;
Participate as a reliable and flexible member of the health care team to support staffing needs including weekends and holidays as required
