Work Location:

Hershey, PA (15 minutes from Harrisburg at a state of the art campus)

Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM

$37,280 salary + full benefits

Position Overview

The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) works directly with students with autism in a school-based setting. You'll support behavior, communication, and social skill development using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct classroom support to students

• Implement behavior plans and IEP goals

• Track and document student progress

• Support communication, social, and behavioral development

• Collaborate with teachers, Behavior Consultants, and school staff

• Participate in ongoing supervision and training

Qualifications

• High school diploma required

• Experience with children preferred (not required)

• Interest in education, psychology, behavioral health, or human services

• Patient, structured, and team-oriented

• Ability to pass required background checks and clearances

No prior ABA experience required — training provided
