Fusion Medical Staffing - Cath Lab is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 14-week assignment in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

06/16/2026.
Employment type:
Travel. Shift: 8 hours/day, 40 hours per week.
- Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement, electrophysiology studies, and other interventional procedures.
- Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents, and operating fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic monitoring systems, ensuring proper functionality.
- Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup, ensuring adherence to infection control and procedural protocols.
- Perform sheath removal and hemostasis using manual compression or closure devices as directed.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs.
- Assist with inventory management, stocking supplies, and ensuring proper storage of sterile instruments and medications.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols, ensuring proper use of lead aprons, shields, and dosimeters.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice.
- One year of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
- ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
- Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
- Valid Radiologic Technologist license in compliance with state regulations (preferred).
- PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certifications (preferred).
- Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Proficiency in PC skills and ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions.
- Physical abilities: remain in a stationary position, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend.
- Interpersonal skills: work effectively with a variety of personnel, present a positive attitude and professionalism.
- Technical/motor skills: perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move around when assisting with procedures.
- Mental requirements: cope with frequent contact with the public, meet deadlines under pressure, work independently or with close supervision, maintain continuous concentration on details.
- Sensory: possess visual acuity and effective communication skills.
