SUMMARY OF POSITION: Penn State Health is seeking a Therapist to drive our Outpatient Lymphedema Therapy program at our East Campus located at 30 Hope Drive in Hershey, PA. You will have the opportunity to work in an academic medical setting alongside a team of seasoned therapists (Occupational, Physical, and Speech). You will work closely with Physical and Occupational Therapists, Speech/Language Pathologists, Neurologists, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Neurology, and primary care providers, amongst others, in treating adults with Lymphatic or Neurologic conditions.

As a member of an academic medical center there is strong focus on education and training with opportunities to participate in rounds/educational events and to mentor students and medical residents. The ideal candidate will have advanced training or certification in Lymphedema therapy as well as a strong interest/experience in the Neuro population.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

  • Currently licensed to practice as an Occupational Therapist by the state of employment. If working under a temporary license, Occupational Therapy license in the state of employment must be obtained within three (3) months of employment.

  • AHA BLS upon orientation completion
