Tours Supervisor and Events Coordinator
Full-Time (40-45 hours per week) | Hourly | Year-Round
Reports To: Retail General Manager

Position Summary
The Tours Supervisor and Events Coordinator supports the daily execution of public tours, VIP visits, and private events. This hourly leadership role ensures consistent guest experience standards, proper staffing coverage, accurate event documentation, and clear communication across departments.
This position is hands-on and guest-facing. The Supervisor leads by example on the floor, supports team execution, and helps maintain operational consistency across all experiential programming.
Strong familiarity with the brand, products, and brewing process is highly desired. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, comfortable speaking to groups, and confident representing the brewery to guests, partners, and VIP visitors.
Core Responsibilities
I. Tour Program Oversight
- Supports execution of all public tours (schedule, staffing, floor presence)
- Maintains and updates tour script and FAQs
- Trains and supports tour guides to ensure consistent standards
- Leads tour team check-ins and communicates operational updates
- Maintains booking platform accuracy
- Reviews and responds to guest feedback as assigned
- Ensures safety SOPs are current and followed
- Conducts tours as needed
- Coordinates VIP visits in partnership with Sales and Retail leadership
- Monitors intake and tracking system for visit requests
- Assists with logistics including tour flow, sampling setup, and hospitality details
- Ensures high-priority visits receive timely confirmation and execution support
- Communicates clearly with internal teams regarding visit expectations
- Responds to event inquiries and assists guests in selecting appropriate spaces
- Prepares and executes Event Order forms (BEOs) for confirmed parties
- Supports event-day execution and staffing coordination
- Schedules co-workers according to event needs while maintaining tour coverage
- Assists in maintaining accurate event documentation and communication
- Creates and adjusts staffing schedules for Tours & Events
- Ensures appropriate coverage for all scheduled programming
- Participates in hiring and training of tour guides
- Identifies training needs and supports staff development
- Maintains organization of checklists, SOPs, and operational documents
- Monitors tour and event supplies and inventory
- Adheres to and reinforces cash handling and reconciliation procedures
- Serves as a knowledgeable brand ambassador
- Greets and engages guests across tours, VIP visits, and events
- Describes beers, brewing techniques, and brewery history confidently
- Guides tastings and sampling experiences
- Addresses guest concerns promptly and escalates when necessary
- Maintains a positive, energetic, and professional presence
- 40-45 hours per week based on volume
- Evenings, weekends, and some holidays required
Qualifications
- 1-3 years hospitality, supervisory, or event experience preferred
- Previous leadership or shift-lead experience highly desired
- Strong familiarity with the brewery's brand, history, and beer portfolio highly desired
- General knowledge of the brewing process preferred
- Comfortable speaking to groups and leading guest experiences
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling platforms
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Navigate brewery production areas safely
- Lift up to 32 lbs repeatedly
