SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Director of Case Management provides strategic and operational leadership for the case management department within an academic medical center. The Director of Case Management is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high quality, patient centered case management services that support optimal clinical outcomes, regulatory compliance, and efficient utilization of healthcare resources. The Director of Case Management collaborates with physician leadership, nursing, quality, finance, and ancillary departments to align case management practices with organizational goals, accreditation standards, and academic missions of clinical excellence, education, and research.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

+ Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

+ Minimum five (5) years management experience

+ Minimum seven (7) years related functional area expertise experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

+ Master's degree

+ Accredited Case Manager (ACM) or Certified Case Manager (CCM)
