Operations Manager - Pediatric Chair

Serves as administrative advisor to Operations Director and other departmental leaders. Provides ongoing daily operational oversight in all areas of assigned responsibility, including clinical offices, support services, patient care areas, and where appropriate, College of Medicine staff, including research labs. Manages capital, human, and material resources for assigned areas, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness of daily operations. Works with Operations Director to participate in decision‑making, identify and coordinate new and existing service opportunities within HMC and COM, and interface with organizational leadership to coordinate grant and contract activity.

Assists in developing policies, procedures, and training to enhance service, quality, and cost, while familiarizing with both PSHMC and College of Medicine policies, procedures, and systems.

• Bachelor's degree with 1 year of management experience required.
• Demonstrated success as an innovator and change agent, with ability to effectively communicate with internal and external partners.

• Project management skills, budget and financial background.
• Prior work in a healthcare or academic medical center setting preferred.
