What You'll DoAs the Food Services Manager
, you will oversee patient dining operations while leading frontline teams to deliver an exceptional patient experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead the daily operations of patient meal services across multiple patient care units
- Oversee both Health Touch bedside dining technology, room service dining, and traditional patient meal delivery programs
- Supervise, coach, and develop frontline employees while promoting engagement and accountability
- Ensure employees have the resources, equipment, and support needed to deliver outstanding service
- Establish and reinforce operational standards focused on quality, efficiency, and patient satisfaction
- Conduct patient rounding and build strong relationships with patients, nursing leadership, and hospital stakeholders
- Perform Gold Check audits and implement continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Monitor service performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive operational excellence
- Foster strong partnerships with hospital leadership while supporting Sodexo's culture of inclusion and collaboration

What You BringThe ideal candidate will have:
- Experience leading high-volume patient dining, hospitality, or food service operations
- Proven success managing and developing large frontline teams
- Strong customer service and patient satisfaction focus
- Experience with bedside dining, room service, or patient meal delivery systems is preferred
- Experience using Health Touch or similar patient dining technology is a plus
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Experience working in a unionized environment is preferred
- The ability to build collaborative relationships with hospital leadership, nursing teams, and clients
