How will you fit in the big picture? Reporting to the Manager of Controls & Security Tech Solutions, the Associate Staff Controls Engineer leads the development and execution of medium to high complexity capital projects.
What will you do?
- Lead the design, selection, installation, and commissioning of control systems and automated equipment
- Develop and assess control systems for manufacturing environments
- Manage small capital projects including scope, cost, and schedule
- Ensure compliance with industrial control network and cybersecurity standards
- Support startup, optimization, and troubleshooting
- Partner cross-functionally across engineering, operations, and vendors
- Train manufacturing and maintenance teams
Minimum Requirements
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field - Additional Qualifications
- PLC/PAC programming (Rockwell, Siemens)
- HMI/SCADA (Factory Talk, Ignition)
- Knowledge of instrumentation and control systems
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to travel (~30%+)
