Under general direction, you will be responsible for the service and repair, design, configuration, and operation of complete HVAC building control systems and other low voltage control sub‑systems (i.e., lighting, nurse call, data networks, etc.) to meet the intent of the customers and JCI goals. You will be accountable for the quality, timeliness and efficiency of service & repair and designs.

You will develop complex software programs, commissioning and solving to ensure proper operation of the building control system. You will provide detailed information and submittals to communicate design and operation to customers, consultants, sales and service team and subcontractors. You will coordinate required day‑to‑day activities of field technician team and plan monthly technician routes. You will analyze team performance and recommend changes to ensure profitability, safety and client satisfaction.

Supervise and provide leadership for assigned teams. Ensure developmental plans are in place. Lead execution efforts of assigned business and ensure consistency of delivery systems. Monitor and track business plans. Collaborate with sales to support all sales opportunities and link to installation opportunities. Advance potential market opportunities to the appropriate resource for strategic direction. Ensure that serviced account portfolios achieve growth, proper profit levels and customer satisfaction.

Recommend and support staffing requirements. Serve as a communication channel to share standard methodology strategies and results to enable SSNA vision. Implement plans to comply, monitor standards for HVAC operations and audit the effectiveness of operations. Drive service and installation operational review meetings, review bids and estimates for accuracy, and deploy overall resources. Analyze operations processes and provide recommendations for improvement.

Drive other managerial responsibilities including performance reviews, acquisitions, recruiting, hiring and retaining operational staff. Deliver clear performance expectations and development plans for direct reports, and conduct coaching sessions. Work with team leaders to ensure proper workforce and skill levels for successful execution of the business. Perform other duties related to customer satisfaction and deployment of critical initiatives. Design, configure and service technically complex building control systems, create flow diagrams, sequence of operations, bill of materials, network layouts and electrical schematics.

Develop and test software programs necessary to operate the system per customer requirements. Coordinate and create necessary drawings and equipment schedules for submittals. Select, order and track delivery of materials. Assist in loading and commissioning system and network controllers, validate system functionality and troubleshoot problems with subcontractors. Provide field change information for as‑built drawings and software. Keep management and contractors informed of job progress.

Assist in performing site‑specific training for owner/operator on the total building control system. Participate in release meetings with sales and service operations. Perform value engineering to provide cost‑effective results while maintaining customer satisfaction.
