** SUMMARY OF POSITION:*
* Our Nursing Quality Leader is an advocate and driver of our quality, safety, and regulatory work. This role helps identify where we need to focus our efforts to enhance patient safety, elevate the quality of care, and ensure we meet all regulatory standards. They work closely with leadership at all levels to monitor performance, analyze trends, and champion improvement initiatives that directly impact our patients and our team.
Responsible to function as a member of a multi-disciplinary, unit-based team to provide nursing expertise for a defined microsystem. Lead quality care initiatives to improve patient safety outcomes and patient safety. Collaborate in staff and patient education activities.
** DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION** :
This is a 60-bed unit where nurses care for patients undergoing emergent and urgent care for acute and chronic conditions in a wide variety of acuity levels. The Emergency Department is a Level 1 Regional Trauma Center treating more than 70,000 patients annually.

* MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* + Masters Degree in Nursing required
+ 5 years of clinical experience in area of expertise
+ Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
