SUMMARY OF POSITIONResponsible to function as a member of a multi-disciplinary, unit based team to provide nursing expertise for a defined microsystem. Lead quality care initiatives to improve patient outcomes and patient safety. Collaborate in staff and patient education activities.
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTIONThe 12-bed unit provides emergent and urgent care for acute and chronic conditions at varying acuity levels. The pediatric emergency department is a regional Level 1 pediatric trauma center treating more than 20,000 patients annually.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- Master’s degree in Nursing
- Five (5) years of related experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
