Seeking a Critical Care/ICU Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP) for inpatient cardiac intensive care support.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing critical cardiac patients, including ventricular assist devices, ECMO, Impella, and transplant cases.
- Performing daily patient rounds, admissions, postoperative care, and procedures.
- Handling a patient load of 8-12 per shift in a 30-bed unit.
- Providing coverage during day and night shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Utilizing Cerner EMR for patient documentation.
- Board Certified Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider
- Active Pennsylvania licensure
- Certifications in ACLS and BLS
- Experience with critical cardiac cases and intensive care procedures
- Practice setting is inpatient ICU
- Credentialing typically takes 60-90 days
