Position: Rough Mower - Hershey Country Club
Join the team at Hershey Country Club, a private, premier golf and recreation club. The club's rich history of accolades, success, and chocolate combine to form a one-of-a-kind experience for individuals and families of all ages, and features 45 holes of golf on the championship East & West courses.

This position will mow rough height grass on all the golf courses of Hershey Country Club. This includes operating riding lawn mowers that are designed to mow green surrounds, tee surrounds, and all other rough height grass.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

* Mowing rough height grass, green surrounds, tee surrounds, and all rough height grass

* Maintaining mowers and other equipment in good working condition

* Completing all tasks as assigned, and exhibiting safe and productive work habits.

Qualifications:

* Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

* Must possess a valid PA driver's license.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

* Experience a plus, but will train.

* Must be self
-motivated with attention to detail.

* Knowledge and safe use of hand and/or power equipment involved in grounds maintenance is helpful but not necessary.

Job Demands:

* This is a seasonal position, generally scheduled Monday through Friday, 20-30 hours per week.

* Must be able to work in combination of indoor and outdoor weather conditions

* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and operate heavy machinery

* Must be able to work unsupervised

* Must be able to work on feet for extended periods of time

* Although generally scheduled Monday through Friday, this is a union position and the work schedule will be based on union seniority. Candidates must be able to meet schedule requirements, which may require evening and weekend hours.
