Position: Hershey Country Club Culinary Intern - Summer 2026
Join the team at Hershey Country Club, a private, premier golf and recreation club. The club's rich history of accolades, success, and chocolate combine to form a one-of-a-kind experience for individuals and families of all ages, and features 45 holes of golf on the championship East & West courses. An Internship in Culinary at Hershey Country Club is focused on developing a strong operational capability in the student.

Our students will be coached by the Executive Chef, Sous Chefs, and senior line staff and be challenged to execute at a professional production level. Interns will learn banquet preparation, a la carte, and line positions. Culinary Intern is expected to bring a passion and focus on learning, maintain a professional demeanor, and be committed to the full term of the Intern/Externship.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):
* Maintain a clean and organized work area using Serv Safe training and State Food Safety regulations.
* * Demonstrate safe handling of tools, knives and equipment in carrying out assigned tasks.
* * Exhibit safe food handling practices.
* * Exhibit basic knowledge and understanding of cooking techniques; strive to advance knowledge and skills.
* * Follow verbal direction and written recipes quickly and accurately; asking appropriate questions for clarification.
* * Develop proficiency in operating assigned stations.
* * Ensure assigned workstation has proper level of par stocks and supplies according to daily menus and banquets.
* * Performs all job related duties as required.

Qualifications:

* Must be at least 18 years of age or older
* Must be currently enrolled in culinary school to be eligible Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Must have a full knife kit.
* Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English
* Must demonstrate fundamental culinary knowledge and a passion for the craft
* Must be knowledgeable of weights, measures, and math used in kitchen applications
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment Job Demands:
* This internship is available May 2026 - August 2026.
* Company coordinated housing is available for this opportunity. If utilized, a weekly housing fee of $160 per week, inclusive of utilities and limited transportation, will be automatically deducted from students' biweekly paychecks. Upon commitment to employee housing, HE&R will charge a $180 housing fee, inclusive of a refundable $160 housing deposit and a nonrefundable $20 insurance waiver fee.
