As a Delivery Coordinator you will be responsible for the product deliveries that are being sent from our Retail Warehouse. This includes deliveries to our retail shops within Hersheypark and also leading the deliveries to other properties. As part of the Retail Warehouse team, you will also assist in completing general warehousing tasks including pulling orders, stocking products in the warehouse, and completing organizational tasks.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

Lead the coordination of deliveries to retail locations as well as completing requested pickups and transfers from those locations using various company vehicles.

Work alongside other team members to complete general warehouse tasks such as pulling orders, organizing stock on shelving units throughout the warehouse, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Assist with organizing incoming freight, including separating SKUs in order for product to be counted in. Lead the organization of stocking this product onto warehouse shelves.

Follow proper organizational guidelines to neatly shelve and maintain layout of products within the warehouse.

Read order lists and pull orders to ensure each order is fulfilled with efficiency and accuracy.

Assist in training team members to ensure they comply with departmental and company policies and provide ongoing training as the season progresses

Complete walkthroughs of areas of responsibility to identify safety and maintenance-related issues and address these concerns with full-time staff to ensure they are remedied.

Assist in accurately ticketing incoming freight with barcode labels.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older on the date of applying

Must have a valid driver’s license

Must be comfortable driving various types of company vehicles, including a box truck

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

While guest interaction is minimal, must be friendly, upbeat, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be self-motivated to perform all aspects of the job at all times

Must display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image in compliance with the Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelines

Must be able to perform basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

Attention to detail is vital for success

Proven time management, problem-solving, task management, and organizational skills required

Prior leadership/supervisory experience is preferred

Job Demands:

Must be able to work at least 32 hours per week, from Memorial Day to Labor Day, with shifts varying between 6AM - 3PM. Year round hours may be available.

Must have reliable transportation to and from work and be able to work flexible schedules including, days, weekends, and holidays

Must be able to work in a combination of indoor and outdoor weather conditions. Employees are subject to a variety of weather conditions, including but not limited to extreme heat, sun exposure, cold, and inclement weather.

Physical requirements include the ability to stand (for up to five hours at a time), walk, bend at the waist and knees and have repeated manual dexterity, and the ability to push, pull, and reach above shoulder level and lift up to sixty (60) pounds without assistance
