Account Manager (PA)
Account Manager to support sales of our pre‑K12 Curriculum, specifically targeting markets in Pennsylvania. The role involves representing all aspects of Savvas products, services, and solutions in assigned accounts and maximizing profitable revenue while improving market share and developing growth strategies.
Primary Responsibilities- Achieve and exceed Savvas pre‑K12 sales revenue goals while working within assigned sales and operational budgets.
- Translate vision and strategy into effective sales actions with the Sales Director and RVP to maximize profitable revenue across all Savvas pre‑K12 products, services, and solutions.
- Partner with decision makers in districts to present Savvas solutions that increase student achievement.
- Identify solutions and opportunities in assigned districts and mobilize market resources to win business.
- Develop three‑year account business plans, including an annual sales plan to support organizational goals and objectives.
- Prepare sales and pipeline reports and implement strategic sales analytics.
- Seek new solutions opportunities for growth, including digital sales.
- Coordinate field input to product management, development and marketing groups.
- Provide accurate information regarding sales activities in assigned states.
- Work with contract administration to ensure listing processes are completed on time.
- Build relationships with other Savvas divisions and oversee integration plans.
- 3‑5 years of sales experience, or equivalent teaching/ed‑tech role.
- Consistently exceeding sales targets.
- Networking and influencing decision makers.
- Preference for experience in the educational market.
- Strategic sales thinking and outstanding communication.
- Flexible and adaptive in a changing organization.
- Strong written and presentation communication skills.
- Excellent listening and customer solution delivery.
- High learning curve for new product lines.
- Knowledge of technology trends.
- B.A. degree or equivalent experience.
- Significant travel may be required.
- Ability to sit or stand at a computer for extended periods and present.
- High volume work handling, multiple priorities.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Hiring range: $80,000 – $100,000.
