MHS is seeking a part‑time CDL Driver/Utility Worker to support the Transportation team.

Milton Hershey School (MHS) is one of the world’s best pre‑K through 12th grade private schools, where approximately 2,200 students from disadvantaged backgrounds are provided with a cost‑free home and a top‑notch education. • Transport students and staff to on‑and off‑campus activities and appointments, including airports and transit stations
• Deliver food, supplies, and freight to student homes, campus facilities, and off‑campus locations
• Perform vehicle safety inspections, basic maintenance checks, and maintain cleanliness standards
• Maintain accurate driver logs and required documentation
• Complete general utility tasks, including organizing and cleaning equipment and supplies
• Maintain availability for a flexible work schedule based on operational needs

The work schedule is considered flex with up to 29 hours per week. Bargaining unit with Local OPS 464. Hourly pay rate: $30.77. Part‑time employees are eligible for retirement savings plan, employee assistance program (EAP), free lunches when on duty, and Hershey area discounts.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one year of school bus driving experience
• Valid Pennsylvania Class B CDL with P&S and air brake endorsements, or ability to obtain S endorsement within three months of hire
• Excellent driving record
• Ability to frequently lift and carry 50+ pounds
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a diverse, multicultural environment
• Flexibility to meet changing schedule requirements
• Strong organizational, time management, and record‑keeping skills
• High level of integrity and willingness to actively engage with students beyond core job duties
