We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Ware on a short-term basis from February to March, with the strong possibility of extension. There is also potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support children at a crucial stage of their development within a nurturing and engaging Early Years environment.

• Supporting the class teacher in delivering high-quality EYFS provision
• Working with small groups and individual pupils to support learning and development
• Assisting with phonics, early literacy, and numeracy activities
• Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting a safe, inclusive classroom environment
• Supporting children's social and emotional development
• Contributing to observations and assessments where required

• Experience working within an EYFS setting (school or nursery)
• A strong understanding of the Early Years Framework
• A patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A proactive and flexible attitude
• Relevant childcare qualification (desirable but not essential depending on experience)

• Opportunity to work in a supportive and welcoming school
