We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Engineer to join our expanding maintenance team. This role is ideal for a proactive engineer who thrives on variety, problem-solving, and delivering high-quality reactive repairs across a range of commercial and industrial environments.

You’ll play a key part in keeping buildings safe, functional, and well-presented by responding quickly to call-outs and completing works to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out reactive building fabric maintenance, repairs, and small works

* Perform carpentry, joinery, and door repairs

* Undertake general plumbing and patch plastering

* Complete painting, decorating, and finishing tasks

* Respond to urgent breakdowns and building fabric issues

* Deliver excellent customer service while ensuring safety and compliance at all times

Requirements

* Proven experience in building fabric maintenance (commercial experience preferred)

* Strong multi-trade skillset and hands-on approach

* Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding ability

* Full UK driving licence (company van provided)

* Strong communication skills and customer-facing confidence

* Flexibility to work occasional out-of-hours when required
