Options For Youth (OFY) is a network of free, non‑profit public charter schools that offer a flexible, personalized approach to learning for students in grades 7‑12. With over 35 years of experience and more than 135,000 students served, OFY focuses on fostering the student’s vision and the critical student‑teacher relationship.

• Deliver the educational program to ensure data‑driven, results‑based instruction in alignment with Common Core Standards.
• Provide direct instruction to students six hours a day.
• Teach mastery of the Common Core Standards and develop lesson plans in single‑subject content areas.
• Use assessments and data to influence instruction and maintain grade, attendance, and retention records.
• Provide targeted interventions for special education students and English Language Learners.
• Participate in community groups, faculty and professional meetings, educational conferences, teacher training workshops, and assist with state‑mandated student testing.
• Meet with students and parents to discuss student progress and address concerns.

• BA/BS Degree.
• California Preliminary or Clear Art, Dance, Music, or Theater single‑subject teaching credential with English Language Authorization (ELA).
• Eligible to be considered for internship status.

Bi‑weekly salary range: $2,807.70 – $4,038.47, depending on experience.
