This position requires working in person, with a standard schedule M-F from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The schedule is subject to change with the approval of direct supervisor.

We are seeking a HVAC Service Technician to join our team!

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and inspections on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues and malfunctions.

Repair or replace defective equipment components, electrical wiring, and controls.

Install new HVAC systems and ensure they meet code requirements and specifications.

Calibrate and test system functionality and efficiency.

Provide customers with technical advice and proper system operation guidance.

Maintain accurate records of services performed and materials used.

Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations.

Respond promptly to emergency service requests and after-hours calls.

Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure optimal service delivery.

Keep abreast of new technologies and techniques in the HVAC industry.

Manage inventory of parts and tools, ensuring availability for service calls.

Prepare and submit detailed service reports and job completion paperwork.

Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.

Participate in ongoing training and development programs.

Position Requirements

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification in HVAC preferred

Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC service and maintenance

Valid HVAC technician certification (e.g., EPA 608)

Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics

Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, repair, and maintenance

Familiarity with HVAC tools and equipment, including testing devices

Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC issues effectively

Knowledge of safety standards and procedures related to HVAC systems

Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed
