Duties/ResponsibilitiesMeasuring and marking materials
Cutting and shaping materials to fit specific requirements
Inspecting finished installations to ensure that they meet quality and safety standards
QualificationsMust be skilled in using hand and power tools, as well as machinery such as drills, saws, and grinders
Must follow safety procedures and work effectively in a high-pressure environment
Attention to detail
Requires physical strength and hand-eye coordination and can maintain a high degree of accuracy throughout the installation process
The ability to work well in a team
Strong communication skills
Strong understanding of safety protocols
Must have at least 3 years layout fitting
Education and ExperienceA high school diploma or equivalent;
Previous MSHA training is a plus
Standing for prolonged periods
Lifting to 70 lbs.
Crouching/bending
Walking
Works in many different weather conditions
