Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Tow Truck Operator role based in Hesperia, CA. Tow Truck Operators are responsible for safely operating tow trucks to recover, load, and transport disabled, damaged, or illegally parked vehicles. Daily tasks include responding to dispatch calls, securing vehicles using proper equipment, performing basic roadside assistance (such as jump-starts and tire changes), and completing required documentation and logs.

The role involves inspecting trucks and equipment, following DOT and company safety procedures, and communicating clearly with customers, dispatchers, and law enforcement or other agencies as needed. Tow Truck Operators may work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and must be prepared to handle outdoor work in different weather conditions.

Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess professional driving skills such as CDL Class A and Truck Driving experience.
  • Candidates should possess operational and load-handling skills such as Unloading and safe handling of Truck equipment.
  • Candidates should possess regulatory and safety knowledge, including DOT Regulations and compliance with company policies.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; towing or recovery experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver equipment, work safely in roadside environments, and follow safety protocols.
  • Strong customer service skills, clear communication, and the ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
  • Reliability in attendance, willingness to work flexible hours, and capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; additional training or certifications in towing or vehicle recovery are a plus.
