We are currently recruiting for an experienced Pest Control Operative to join a Yorkshire-based Local Authority on an initial 6‑month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on professional who can quickly integrate into a busy team and manage a varied daily workload.

• Attend residential and commercial sites across the area
• Carry out pest control treatments including:
• Rodents
• Insects (ants, wasps, fleas, cockroaches, bed bugs)
• Complete job sheets and associated paperwork on‑site
• Adhere to health & safety and organisational procedures
• Represent the authority in a professional manner

• Previous experience working in pest control (essential)
• Ability to work independently in a field‑based role
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong practical skills with attention to detail
• PCA Level 2 qualification (desirable, not essential)
• DBS check (desirable but not required)

• Monday – Thursday: 08:30 – 16:30
• Friday: 08:30 – 16:00

• Immediate start available
• Van, PPE, and uniform provided
• Stable 6‑month contract with potential extension
• Supportive and experienced team
