About the Positiononsite; fulltime; hourly;
Monday - Friday; 8:30am - 5:30pm are the typical hours with possible overtime, but not guaranteed. Pay starts at $17/hour. Pay may increase depending on experience.
As the Resident Services Representative, you will serve as the first line of contact for all resident questions, inquiries, and/or complaints. To do well in this role you need to be a positive communicator that can remain calm when residents are frustrated or upset and always look for a win/win solution. Ensuring company standards are achieved with superior customer service is expected.
You will report to the Property Manager.
- Answer calls and emails from residents in a timely manner
- Always maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward residents
- Acknowledge and forward messages/emails to staff if necessary and follow up
- Prepare Resident Communication reports
- Update and safeguard resident services binder with event details for audits/management
- Plan weekly and special resident events, create event flyers, maintain sign ups, and resident feedback
- Monitor all social medial accounts, including resident and customer reviews, and address as needed
- Ensure resident satisfaction is achieved and provide professional customer support
- Tour prospects around the community, giving special attention to features/amenities offered, available floor plans, information about the area, resident events, etc. Once in the model, highlight significant details about the unit (appliances, upgraded finishes, textures used, etc.).
- Drives renewal and occupancy through a hands-on approach with customer service and a strong sense of urgency.
- Ensures that all prospect lease applications are completed thoroughly, correctly, and in a timely manner, while adhering to compliance standards and fair housing regulations.
- Maintains and updates resident files as needed.

- High School diploma or GED.
- 1+ years experience working in multifamily; experienced in Resident Services and/or Leasing; APM experience a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License.
This role is intermittently sedentary but requires mobility (i.e., standing, climbing stairs, periodically walking around the property, etc.). This role also requires occasional movements such as pushing/pulling, reaching, stretching, carrying/holding (up to 20 lbs.) etc. Will use repetitive hand-wrist motion while using computer and writing. Must have normal range of vision to read and complete applications, leases, general paperwork and handle computerized duties;
hearing and speech to communicate with residents, vendors, supervisors, and coworkers on the telephone or in person on a regular basis. Works in a typical office setting with daily exposure to outdoor environment (i.e., heat, cold, damp, rain, snow, etc.) when walking the community.
