Location:

Waco, 224 N. Hewitt Dr., Hewitt, TX 76643, USA

Responsibilities
  • Attend all scheduled safety, department, and company meetings as required.
  • Follow and enforce company safety policies as safe work practices at all times to ensure safety of self and others.
  • Establish priorities for efficiently staging, processing, and packaging materials.
  • Accept responsibility for all aspects of the work produced.
  • Inspect and verify all aspects of the material when receiving, producing, or packaging: size, grade, measurements, quantity, etc.
  • Scrutinize customer requirements and special instructions to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction; confirm materials and parts are produced to print.
  • Ensure inventory is accurate.
  • Maintain and clean work area daily.
  • Ensure audit and material traceability procedures are followed throughout the warehouse.
Physical & Work Requirements
  • Working in a yard or warehouse facility within OSHA guidelines; conditions may be heated and/or unheated, dusty and noisy; exposed to moving mechanical parts; steel‑toed boots required daily.
  • Facility is a multiple shift operation. Must possess the ability to work overtime and a flexible schedule and be on‑call at various times including possible weekends and holidays.
  • Fast‑paced moderately stressful, constantly changing day‑to‑day work environment.
  • Job is performed under some temperature extremes.
  • Ability to stand, walk, or be mobile for up to eight hours per shift. Capable of ascending and descending material‑handling equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 51 pounds, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Wear proper PPE at all times (as described in company policy).
  • Understanding of US policies and procedures.
  • Ability to effectively read and use a tape measure, caliper, and micrometer.
  • Proven ability to read and understand prints, documents, and/or drawings.
  • Ability to operate a computer.
  • Experience operating fabrication equipment.

Qualifications

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Experience operating fabrication equipment.
