Personal Injury Reductions / Closing Specialist
Full‑time position located in Miami Lakes, FL. The Reductions Specialist serves as the final point of contact for each case, requiring a positive attitude and polished, professional communication.
Responsibilities- Initiate courtesy calls to clients upon case assignment, provide detailed explanations of the reduction process, and meticulously log phone calls, case statuses, and documents into the online document management software.
- Ensure efficient linkage of releases onto Litify, confirm PIP benefits, and validate damages with a complete provider list.
- Confirm balances due on medical accounts, negotiate bills with providers, and send out reductions promptly.
- Maintain regular client contact, addressing queries every two weeks.
- Conduct case reviews and personal audits for productivity, and develop & monitor weekly projection reports.
- Other tasks may include:
- Answer, screen, and route incoming calls to the appropriate team member
- Take and relay messages or transfer calls to voicemail when staff are unavailable
- Log phone calls and upload documents into the online system
- Provide clerical support to office staff, including faxing, copying, and file organization
- Maintain regular communication with clients and respond to questions
- Obtain insurance coverage information in a timely manner
- Follow up on medical treatment and confirm continuity of care
- Request and obtain medical records and billing statements from providers
- Communicate with insurance companies regarding treatment status and update adjuster information in the system
- Perform additional administrative and case‑related duties as assigned
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken and written)
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Resourceful and proactive in resolving issues
- Self‑motivated with the ability to multitask
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Paid Time Off:
Eligibility for employees working 30 hours per week or more – accrue 3.08 hours per pay period for a total of two (2) weeks per year. - Health Benefits:
