Office Administrator/ Coordinator
Trane Technologies is looking for a Project Administrator to support project management activities for the Florida Region Service group. The role works on‑site Monday‑Thursday, with Friday remote flexibility, collaborating closely with Area Service Managers and project teams.
Responsibilities- Follow established standard work and processes using enterprise systems.
- Coordinate transition of projects from Sales to Operations within business systems.
- Administer projects throughout the full life cycle to ensure contract compliance and successful delivery.
- Coordinate procurement, including material ordering, tracking, and issuing purchase orders and subcontracts.
- Manage monthly customer invoicing and coordinate with project team members to record project costs accurately, including time sheets, forecasting, and vendor invoices.
- Review billing backlog and communicate with Project Managers, technicians, customers, and claims as necessary to resolve obstacles.
- High School diploma or GED with up to two (2) years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong communication skills, proactive, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated problem‑solving, decision‑making, rational thinking, and good judgment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience with financial systems and basic accounting, including accounts receivable and payable.
- Knowledge of construction law and regulation is an asset.
- Familiarity with HVAC system operation is preferred but not required.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Salary Range: $50,350.00 – $70,770.00 per year.
