Position OverviewSenior Business Analyst – Practice Management Team (PMT). This role supports PMT operations by driving advisor reporting, metrics, business‑system support (Salesforce and Actifi), and scalable workflow enablement. The analyst reports to the Director of PMT Operations and provides backup coverage across core reporting and system support functions.
Base salary range: $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 (exclusive of bonuses and benefits).
Primary Job Functions- Partner with PMT stakeholders and initiatives.
- Serve as a business partner to Advisor Services Directors and PMT members to translate requests into clear requirements, prioritization and deliverables.
- Own intake for reporting and system requests (triage, scope, success criteria, timelines) and coordinate cross‑functional resolution.
- Prepare standardized reporting for scheduled meetings between Advisor Services Directors, PMT participants and Advisor Team Leads.
- Reporting & Analytics (monthly, quarterly, ad‑hoc).
- Coordinate and prepare monthly Advisor Team reporting, key metrics and variance analyses.
- Analyze and validate results to ensure accuracy, accountability and data integrity.
- Perform detailed ad‑hoc analysis to understand drivers of trends or results.
- Maintain and enhance repeatable reporting assets and templates; write procedure documentation and metric definitions.
- Perform other ad‑hoc reporting or projects as assigned.
- Service Model, Engagement & Performance Reporting.
- Maintain and improve service model reporting (expected vs. delivered touchpoints by tier, region/department and related roll‑ups).
- Support engagement scoring processes and reporting outputs used in leadership and operational reviews.
- Partner with stakeholders to identify data gaps, improve classification and reduce manual effort in recurring reporting.
- Business Systems Support (Acti Fi, Salesforce Support Org).
- Acti Fi: support configuration, reporting/analytics, assessments, training/adoption and enhancement requests in partnership with the vendor and internal stakeholders.
- Salesforce Support Org: support data integrity, user access/permissions questions, and field governance; partner with Helpdesk/Technology for admin changes.
- Ensure key channels (Salesforce, Support Org, Acti Fi and downstream reporting) are updated with correct and accurate data.
- Data Governance, Automation & Enablement.
- Consolidate and maintain PMT data and statistics across sources (e.g., NCNM, ECNM, net flows, engagement/activity metrics).
- Identify data quality issues and drive resolution with appropriate owners; implement lightweight controls and reconciliation checks.
- Support automation/AI initiatives that improve capture of follow‑up items and streamline recurring reporting workflows.
- Communication and Presentation Support.
- Assist with preparation of presentations and leadership‑ready materials (PowerPoint decks, one‑pagers) for events such as Regional Round tables and PMT initiatives.
- Support communication strategy on behalf of PMT/Advisor Services, including updating intranet/Connections content when needed.
- Prepare Growth Leaders Circle and Micro Monday reporting and statistics for posting on Connections and presentation.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in business, finance, economics or a related field.
- 8+ years in the Financial Services industry with experience in business analysis, reporting/analytics, business‑system support or project management.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills; ability to translate analysis into clear recommendations and stakeholder‑ready materials.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite – specifically PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong knowledge of data platforms and data extraction (Salesforce; Orion preferred).
