Marand specializes in serving the healthcare, financial services, commercial/administrative and light‑industrial industries.
- A bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- At least five years of experience in the commercial construction industry, overseeing all aspects of jobsite safety for ground‑up projects in healthcare, financial, and light industrial sectors
- Passionate about creating and maintaining a safe working environment, possessing a strong commitment to ensuring the well‑being of all team members
- Comprehensive understanding of federal, state, and local safety regulations, as well as industry best practices
- Strong leadership, problem‑solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inform multiple teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders of best safety practices
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities, with a proactive and results‑oriented approach
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various job sites
- Minimum of three years related experience
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance standards
- Ability to travel 60‑75% of the time (trips are short in duration)

- Plan, implement, communicate, and monitor safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal OSHA rules and regulations
- Investigate all accidents and injuries; recommend or coordinate corrective actions with the Safety Manager
- Develop and implement safety training programs designed to instruct employees in general safe work practices and specific instruction for hazards unique to any job assignment; provide training for new employees
- Maintain thorough knowledge of federal and state OSHA regulations and web sites; stay up to date on safety codes and regulations
- Identify potential safety hazards at all facilities; report hazards and recommendations for eliminating or reducing them to the Safety Manager
- Encourage employees and supervisors to report all unsafe conditions immediately and schedule or coordinate repairs as soon as possible
- Encourage employees and supervisors to report any injury that occurs on the job, even a slight cut or strain, immediately
