Destiny Worship Center is a multi-campus church with six locations across the Florida Panhandle. We are passionate about building families, making disciples, bridging denominations, and transforming communities. Through life‑giving worship, engaging teaching, and healthy ministry teams, we exist to help people encounter Jesus and take their next step.
We are currently looking to add an experienced Worship Pastor to our team. With six campuses and continued growth, we're searching for leaders who love Jesus, build healthy teams, and are passionate about creating environments where people can worship and encounter God.

About the RoleThe Worship Pastor is responsible for leading worship ministry at one of our campuses, building and developing volunteer teams, and creating worship experiences that are both spiritually impactful and executed with excellence. This pastor will work closely with campus leadership and our regional worship team to plan and lead services, develop leaders, and care for the people who make ministry happen.
This role calls for someone who leads with both humility and confidence, loves building people more than platforms, and thrives in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
Primary Responsibilities- Support the culture, mission, vision, and values of Destiny Worship Center.
- Attend weekly staff meetings and team meetings.
- Schedule worship team members and ensure key roles are filled for weekend services and special events.
- Collaborate with regional Worship Pastors to plan and execute weekend services, including song selection, flow, and ministry moments.
- Lead worship during weekend services and other assigned events.
- Lead efficient rehearsals in a fast‑paced, highly‑skilled environment.
- Provide pastoral care and leadership to worship team members.
- Identify, recruit, and develop future worship leaders and team leads.
- Meet regularly with volunteers and leaders to develop, train, and cast vision.
- Contribute creative ideas that help create excellent worship experiences.
- Support and lead church‑wide events including Nights of Worship, Good Friday services, Christmas Eve services, memorial services, weddings, and other special gatherings.
- Add leadership and support to the Campus Production Team.
- Work closely with Campus Pastors, Regional Worship Pastors, and ministry leaders to strengthen the culture and health of the church.
- Be available for evening and weekend ministry responsibilities.
- Lead worship during weekly Sunday services.
- Participate in rehearsals and service planning.
- Create environments that help people connect with God and take their next step.

- Regular worship team rehearsals and leadership development.
- Ongoing discipleship and pastoral care for volunteers.
- Collaboration with regional worship leaders and campus staff.
- You have at least five years of worship ministry experience in a church averaging 500+ in attendance.
- You are an excellent vocalist and instrumentalist, with guitar proficiency preferred.
- You have experience building and developing volunteer teams.
- You have a strong knowledge of Scripture and lead from biblical convictions.
- You communicate clearly and effectively.
- You are comfortable with ministry software and common office applications.
- You genuinely enjoy building people and teams.
- You are self‑motivated and require minimal supervision.
- You are flexible and work well with campus, regional, and executive leadership.
- You are organized and capable of managing multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
- You possess Christ‑like character and relational maturity.
- You are humble, teachable, and committed to excellence.
