We are searching for a Member Services Representative to join our team! As a member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional “Judgement Free” member experience!
Skills Required Customer Service experience preferred.
Basic computer proficiency and strong attention to detail.
Consistent punctuality and reliability.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Willingness to learn and adapt.
Problem-solving mindset.
Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Greet members and guests, always providing exceptional customer service.
Answer phones courteously and assist callers with a variety of questions.
Check members in and provide club tours to prospective members.
Communicate updates and events to members and guests.
Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Conduct beverage or merchandise purchases on the point-of-sale system.
Utilize POS system to assist with new memberships and existing membership questions.
Go above and beyond to keep the front desk area and lobby clean and orderly.
Regular cleaning and upkeep of the facility, including exercise equipment, amenities, windows, mirrors, trash removal, and re-racking weights.
Support team operations by adapting to new policies, procedures, and systems, and completing required company training as assigned.
Frequent restroom/locker room cleaning and stocking.
Complete company assigned trainings and additional learning as directed.
Physical Demands Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
Frequent walking throughout the facility.
Occasional lifting and carrying of items up to 75 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Reaching, bending, and kneeling as needed for cleaning and stocking tasks.
Ability to work in a busy, noisy fitness environment.
Will occasionally use or be around standard cleaning products; appropriate safety procedures and protective equipment are provided.
