Scope of Position

The Racquet Club Attendant provides friendly, attentive service in a premium pickleball and padel environment. Responsible for keeping courts clean, organized, and guest‑ready, this role supports reservations and equipment rentals while ensuring a welcoming and professional experience for all players.

Position Requirements
  • Professional demeanor and happy attitude.
  • Previous experience in a recreational, hospitality or sports family environment is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of pickleball or willingness to learn.
  • A creative and enthusiastic approach to engaging guests.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt activities to suit various age groups and interests.
  • Basic computer knowledge (Micros or other POS systems).
  • Outstanding and professional guest services skills.
  • Organized and the ability to facilitate multiple people and skill sets at the same time.
  • Knowledge of supplies.
  • Excellent eye for detail and the ability to multi‑task.
  • Experience setting up, operating and breaking down events.
Responsibilities
  • Greet all members and guests in a professional and welcoming manner.
  • Ensure all courts are clean, safe, and properly set up with nets and equipment.
  • Monitor court activity, ensuring rules and time limits are respectfully followed.
  • Manage court reservations, walk‑ins, and cancellations efficiently.
  • Assist with guest check‑in, memberships, and payment processing as needed.
  • Provide accurate information on club rules, pickleball and padel basics, and upcoming events or lessons.
  • Promptly report any equipment malfunctions or facility concerns to management.
  • Support light maintenance tasks and assist with event set‑up or breakdown as required.
Education

High school diploma or GED.

Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to communicate in the English language. Second language is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently in a safe and organized manner.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends and able to perform multiple tasks.
  • Experience using computers and software programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Physical Requirements
  • Able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Able to be outdoors for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions including heat, sun, wind, and rain.
  • Must be physically fit to lift, pull, and push items up to 50 pounds.
  • Also requires standing/walking/reaching and bending throughout shift.
