The Racquet Club Attendant provides friendly, attentive service in a premium pickleball and padel environment. Responsible for keeping courts clean, organized, and guest‑ready, this role supports reservations and equipment rentals while ensuring a welcoming and professional experience for all players.
Position Requirements- Professional demeanor and happy attitude.
- Previous experience in a recreational, hospitality or sports family environment is a plus.
- Basic understanding of pickleball or willingness to learn.
- A creative and enthusiastic approach to engaging guests.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt activities to suit various age groups and interests.
- Basic computer knowledge (Micros or other POS systems).
- Outstanding and professional guest services skills.
- Organized and the ability to facilitate multiple people and skill sets at the same time.
- Knowledge of supplies.
- Excellent eye for detail and the ability to multi‑task.
- Experience setting up, operating and breaking down events.
- Greet all members and guests in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Ensure all courts are clean, safe, and properly set up with nets and equipment.
- Monitor court activity, ensuring rules and time limits are respectfully followed.
- Manage court reservations, walk‑ins, and cancellations efficiently.
- Assist with guest check‑in, memberships, and payment processing as needed.
- Provide accurate information on club rules, pickleball and padel basics, and upcoming events or lessons.
- Promptly report any equipment malfunctions or facility concerns to management.
- Support light maintenance tasks and assist with event set‑up or breakdown as required.
High school diploma or GED.
Skills and Abilities- Ability to communicate in the English language. Second language is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a safe and organized manner.
- Ability to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends and able to perform multiple tasks.
- Experience using computers and software programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Able to be outdoors for long periods of time.
- Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions including heat, sun, wind, and rain.
- Must be physically fit to lift, pull, and push items up to 50 pounds.
- Also requires standing/walking/reaching and bending throughout shift.
