Education Program Support (Assistant Director)

Paradise Christian School is seeking a passionate, energetic, and experienced Early Childhood Assistant Director to support our Head Start, Early Head Start, and VPK programs.

What You'll Do:
- As our Education Program Support , you will play a vital role in daily operations and program success:
- Support daily school operations alongside the Executive Director.
- Supervise, coach, and support teaching staff.
- Ensure compliance with Head Start, EHS, VPK, DCF, and licensing standards.
- Perform high-volume data entry and tracking with accuracy.
- Assist with staff recruitment, onboarding, and retention.
- Provide classroom support when needed.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and staff.
- Manage and post daily social media content.
- Help coordinate school events and family engagement activities.
- Maintain website updates and track classroom/event photos.
- Assist with grant research and writing.
- Support fundraising and community partnerships.
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Director Credential (Required).
- Experience with children ages 0-5.
- Experience in an Early Childhood Center office setting.
- Fluent in English & Spanish.
- Head Start / Early Head Start / VPK programs.
- High Scope & Creative Curriculum.
- Teachstone CLASS (Observer Certification or willingness within 90 days).
- Pyramid Model knowledge/certification.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fast and accurate data entry & computer proficiency.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of basic Human Resources& Social Media practices.
- Strong writing and documentation skills.
- Pass Level 2 Background Screening.
- Meet all DCF requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Positive, high-energy, and solution-oriented.
- Passionate about helping children and families succeed.
- Organized, dependable, and adaptable.
- A team player who leads with heart.
