Student Services Assistant
The Student Services Assistant assists with the activities of the Student Services Department. Assist with promoting and executing activities to enhance the cultural, professional, and educational growth of students. Offer support to both students and administration regarding various interactions throughout the students' university experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesRespond promptly to daily communications via email and voicemail, addressing inquiries promptly and professionally.
Ensure strict adherence to the University's mission, policies, procedures, ethical standards, compliance with data protection regulations, and pertinent legal regulations in all aspects of admission activities.
Participate in Commencement Exercises, new student orientation, university events, committees, self-studies, and University Commencement Ceremonies.
Execute special projects assigned by the President or supervisor.
Ensure compliance with Title IX of the Education Amendments Act of 1972, as well as FNU Policies, Procedures, Rules, and Regulations, the FNU Code of Ethics, Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), Florida Information Protection Act of 2014 (FIPA), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and all other applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations.
Undertake other assigned duties as required.
Specific
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide information on the Family Educational Rights, Privacy Act, and the Department of Education Privacy Act rules to students when inquiries arise.
- Provides information and support about Title IX.
- Provide continuing education information to students.
- Maintain graduate students list database for future Alumni Association.
- Provide health insurance information to domestic and international students.

Schedule:
Monday to Thursday
- Monday - Thursday: 2 days from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and 2 days from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm
- * Fridays alternate (campus closes at 7 pm) (8:00 am to 5:00 pm or 10:00 am to 7:00 pm)
