Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight! This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single‑configuration, heavy‑lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low‑Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond.

Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human‑capable.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with all major elements of the New Glenn Program to define Integrated Launch Vehicle Configurations to meet mission requirements and release designs in CREO & Windchill.
  • Assist in linking various datasets into a linked model‑based design environment.
  • Apply AI tools and techniques to operationalize our current New Glenn design environment.
  • Work with the System Design team to establish Interface Control Drawings and Models between major program elements.
Minimum Qualifications
  • B.S. degree in engineering and at least 2 years of experience in the development and packaging of aircraft, spacecraft, or launch vehicle structures.
  • Demonstrated configuration control experience on recently developed aircraft or launch vehicles from early trade studies through final design and into manufacturing and test.
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong design and integration skills using 3‑D CAD software and visualization tools.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of scheduling and planning principles and tools.
  • Good judgment and flexibility. Driven to achieve results.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of demonstrated ability in development and integration of aircraft, spacecraft, or launch vehicle structures.
  • Experience using PTC Creo, DOORS, and Windchill.
  • Knowledge of aerospace vehicle fabrication and assembly techniques.
  • Ability to interpret and apply high‑level system requirements to practical design solutions.
  • Current secret clearance, or ability to obtain needed clearance.
Compensation Range

CO applicants: $90,934.00 – $. WA applicants: $99,201.00 – $.

  • Required for certain job profiles:
    Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) background check if at any time the role requires one to be on a military installation.
  • Required for drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10,001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including:
    Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification, Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing (CDL drivers only), vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training.
  • Required for certain job profiles:
    Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre‑employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical.
