Engineer – K  National Security Solutions

Engineer K ’s National Security Solutions team provides high‑end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country’s most critical role – protecting our national security.

• Responsible for analysis and reporting of overall system performance of Advanced Medium Range Air‑to‑Air Missile (AMRAAM) Flight Tests, including planning and execution phases of flight and ground tests.
• Apply engineering knowledge and specialized technical training to the system performance evaluation of the AMRAAM missile, covering all phases of flight from pre‑launch to intercept and all subsystems: aircraft interface and data link, power, propulsion, inertial navigation system, guidance, autopilot, radar and seeker, automated data processing, and fuzing.
• Write, report, and advise on hardware and software anomalies observed during flight test analysis to highlight areas for future development.
• Perform anomaly investigations and comparative analysis as required.
• Understand the application of computer tools and analysis aids necessary for full analysis and reporting.

• Engineering degree in Electrical, Aerospace, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
• Familiarity with Excel and Access query building.

• Programming ability (C/C++ and Matlab).
• Familiarity with Linux command line and scripting.
• Aircraft Integration or Flight Test experience.

Location:

960 John Sims Parkway, Niceville, Florida. This position requires 25% travel with potential surge to 50% to support end users located at various DoD ranges & labs across the US and some foreign travel.
