The International Motor Sports Association, LLC (IMSA) was founded in 1969 and owns a long and rich history in sports car racing. It sanctions the IMSA Weather Tech Sports Car Championship, IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, IMSA VP Racing Sports Car Challenge, Historic Sportscar Racing, and five one‑make series. IMSA is an exclusive strategic partner in North America with the Automobile Club de l'Ouest, enabling selected IMSA competitors to earn entries to the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
IMSA seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Part‑Time Medical Liaison
. This position will travel to each track location to support events.
- Upon arrival at an event, work with the Manager, Medical Liaison to ensure promoter compliance with the Medical Minimum Standard per the IMSA Sanction Agreement.
- Act as liaison between medical personnel and IMSA upper management, in compliance with HIPAA. Report and relay information within designated time frames, close gaps in communication, and elevate issues at the appropriate time and through appropriate channels.
- Maintain and ensure accuracy of databases; assist with record keeping, tracking, and providing patient data to treating physicians; complete reports in accordance with HIPAA and applicable policy.
- Establish consistent rapport with IMSA staff, participants, and promoters; act as a resource for medical guidance at events while remaining HIPAA compliant.
- Serve as primary resource to facilitate and coordinate lodging and travel accommodations for a participant’s family at events.
- Provide a service of excellence through high customer satisfaction by displaying attentive, tactful, and diplomatic responses to others.
- Assist in office prior to the start of the season, as needed.
100% travel required, including weekends.

Education and ExperienceAssociate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school and a minimum of two years related nursing experience in critical care of emergency/trauma and/or training.
TechnologyDemonstrated understanding of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Internet usage. Excellent computer skills in data entry, accuracy, and solid PC proficiency.
Language SkillsAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Reasoning AbilityAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. This individual must be able to extract, convey and understand accurate information from agreements and related documents.
Computer SkillsProficient on company‑provided hardware and software.
Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsRegistered Nurse (RN).
