SUMMARY: The Senior Investor Relations Manager plays a key role in shaping and executing the company's investor relations strategy, serving as a trusted partner to senior leadership. This role leads critical components of the IR function, including earnings preparation, investor analytics, market intelligence, and investor engagement support. The Manager delivers actionable insights on shareholder dynamics, market trends, and investor sentiment to inform executive decision-making, enhance investor messaging, and support the company's positioning in the capital markets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and special projects may be assigned.

Earnings & Executive Support:
  • Leads core work streams supporting the quarterly earnings process, including investor and analyst intelligence, briefing materials, and post-earnings analysis.
  • Partners with Finance, SEC Reporting, Legal, and senior leadership to develop investor-facing materials, including presentations and supporting analytics.
  • Anticipates and synthesizes key investor themes to prepare executives for earnings calls, conferences, and investor dialogue.
Investor Analytics & Market Intelligence:
  • Owns shareholder surveillance and analysis, leveraging IR platforms and market tools to track ownership trends, investor activity, and sentiment.
  • Provides forward-looking insights on shareholder composition, institutional positioning, consensus estimates, and stock performance.
  • Monitors peer activity, industry trends, and competitive disclosures, delivering benchmarking and executive-level reporting.
  • Synthesizes sell-side research, analyst estimates, and key market themes to inform messaging and strategy.
Investor Engagement & Targeting:
  • Supports the planning and execution of investor engagement, including non-deal roadshows, conferences, and outreach initiatives.
  • Analyzes investor targeting opportunities and contribute to the development of engagement strategies aligned to shareholder objectives.
  • Prepares tailored materials and background insights to enhance the effectiveness of executive meetings with investors and analysts.
Investor Communications & Materials:
  • Develops and maintains high-quality investor presentations and supporting materials aligned to company strategy, financial performance, and market positioning.
  • Ensures consistency and clarity across all investor communications, reinforcing credibility with the investment community.
Proxy & Governance Support:
  • Supports proxy-related activities, including analysis of ISS and Glass Lewis reports and coordination with internal stakeholders.
  • Partners with Legal and Corporate Secretary to align investor messaging with governance and disclosure considerations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Works closely with Finance and SEC Reporting to maintain a deep understanding of financial results, disclosures, and drivers of performance.
  • Partners across functions to ensure alignment between internal strategy and external messaging.
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
  • Serves as a power user of IR systems and tools, enhancing reporting, tracking, and analytics capabilities.
  • Identifies and implements process improvements to strengthen efficiency, insight generation, and stakeholder engagement.
Compliance & Governance:
  • Ensures all communications and activities adhere to regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Supports adherence to applicable laws and regulations, including disclosure and compliance standards.
  • Adheres to and complies with applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.).
  • Adheres to Bank policies and procedures and completes required training.
  • Identifies and reports suspicious activity.
EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE
  • 5 - 8 years of experience in investor relations, corporate finance, capital markets, or investment banking.
  • Experience supporting earnings processes, investor communications, and market analysis within a public company or advisory environment.
  • Exposure to proxy advisory firms, governance topics, or public disclosures preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Strong financial acumen, including valuation, financial modeling, and market analysis.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing executive-level materials.
  • Advanced PowerPoint and presentation development capabilities.
  • Ability to translate complex financial and market data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with IR and financial platforms (e.g., Nasdaq IR Insight, Bloomberg, Capital IQ).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • Candidates residing in locations within Bank United's footprint may be given preference.
