• Supports safe and efficient patient flow by providing patient transport, equipment movement, OR room support, turnover, and general unit assistance.
• Maintains on‑time surgical starts and supports pre‑operative throughput.
• Safely transports patients back to inpatient units or procedural areas based on staffing levels and daily volume demands.
• Collaborates with nursing, anesthesia, physicians, and ancillary departments to improve efficiency, safety, and patient experience.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Preference for 1 year in healthcare, patient transport, hospitality, or customer service environments.
• Skills: Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and transport patients and equipment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow directions and prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Customer service mindset with focus on patient experience.
• License / Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within required timeframe.
• Travel Requirements: Minimal.
