Phlebotomist – Patient Service Center

Every Saturday from 7am to 12pm;
Monday‑Friday, as needed, variable schedule (not to exceed 19 hours per week).

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other diagnostic assays.
• Enter patient information accurately and promptly in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

• Minimum:
  High school diploma, GED, or equivalent and either a Phlebotomy certification, completion of an accredited training program, or 3 months of phlebotomy experience.
• Preferred: 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.

• Phlebotomy certification must be from an accredited agency.
• Must pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation.
