We are excited to announce an opening for a motivated and experienced Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team on a per diem basis at North Beach Rehabilitation Center, a skilled nursing facility located in North Miami Beach, Florida.

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the rehabilitation process of our patients. Your duties will include recording patient responses to treatments, reporting outcomes to physical therapists, and assisting with exercises and functional activities. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized treatment area, ordering supplies, and completing paperwork.

• Prepare for each patient's therapy sessions
• Assist with patient transportation to and from treatment areas
• Order depleted supplies
• Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
• Complete insurance forms and other paperwork
• Read patient evaluations and provide feedback to physical therapists
• Administer balance and muscle strength tests

• Graduate from an accredited PTA school and be certified in the state of Florida
• Prior experience using Net Health (documentation) and Point Click Care
• Basic knowledge of all modalities
• Ability to assist with patient lifting, pulling, and pushing
• CPR certification
• Proficiency in English and Spanish (writing and speaking)
