Job Overview

Labcorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions. We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist for a Patient Service Center to provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections, and represent the company’s brand.

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification, completed training program, or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.

• Phlebotomy certification must come from an accredited agency if work experience is not provided.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Reliable transportation.
• PSTs may be eligible for the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
