About the Role

Central Florida Therapy is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team at a partner ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) center in Winter Garden. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a collaborative, child-focused environment and make a meaningful difference in the lives of pediatric clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
  • Assist in developing and executing individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's goals and needs
  • Document therapy sessions, progress, and updates in accordance with clinical guidelines
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care
  • Support and educate families on therapeutic exercises and home activity programs
  • Stay informed about current best practices and advancements in occupational therapy, particularly within pediatric and ABA settings
Qualifications
  • Current Florida licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Associate's degree from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program
  • Prior experience in a clinical or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Passion for working with children and supporting their developmental progress
